Six ridiculous rules for guitar lessons

best guitar players in peoria arizona

Do you take guitar lessons and think you can get the most out of your lessons? Think about it again

If customers can’t find it, it doesn’t exist. Clearly list and describe the services you offer. Also, be sure to showcase a premium service.

Rule # 1 Think about your values.

Ask yourself: why are you doing what you are doing? Why are you taking lessons? What do you expect from your teacher? What do you expect from yourself? If what you're doing is good, how can you get 10 times more without doing 10 times more?

Rule # 2 Talk to your guitar teacher about philosophy.

Invite him over for coffee or ask in office hours if he offers something like this. If you ask him questions, you'll get to know him better. The better you know him, the better you can understand and understand what he teaches you in class. The topic of philosophy is particularly suitable for this.

Rule # 3 Re-enact the lesson.

After class, when you are at home (and nobody is watching :-) ) play the lesson in front of a mirror. You take on the role of the teacher and explain the topic of the lesson to your reflection. Can you explain everything? Do you need your notes or can you remember everything?

Rule # 4 Talk about your lessons.

Talk to your friends about your lessons. If they also play guitar, give them examples from class. Maybe they can come along to class. When they're not playing guitar, talk about what else interesting is going on. Has your teacher goofed up or told a joke? Guitar lessons are a part of your life. Tell your friends about it.

Rule # 5 Try to apply the topic of the lesson to as many areas as possible

Ask yourself: can I do this with or without a pick? How can I use this principle for the fretting hand or picking hand? Can you apply the principle to rhythm? Can you apply it to music theory?

Rule # 6 Play a three year old (in your head).

Customers have questions, you have answers. Display the most frequently asked questions, so everybody benefits.

Rule # 6 Play a three year old (in your head).

Keep asking yourself: Why? Why should I learn the subject? Why do I play with a pick? Why should I listen to him? These questions are often not socially acceptable, but answers to these questions are important. If you can't find an answer, give yourself time to think. If that is not enough, ask your teacher.
